Guidance Notes

Organisations should have a clear view on how they delegate their Purpose down to the Teams and sub-Organisations within them

This organisation model should:

  1. Ensure the Organisation’s Purpose and Measures of Success are decomposed such that they are effectively and efficiently delivered by the Purposes and Measures of Success of the Teams and sub-Organisations within it
  2. Ensure any outsourcing is done through a suitable commercial contract aligned to these guidance notes (ie. built around a Purpose and Measures of Success, delivery of Objectives, performance measures, and with the ability to flex Budget and Headcount).
  3. Evolve over time to ensure that it continues to be the optimal decomposition for delivering the Organisation’s Purpose
