Guidance Notes

Teams and Organisations should have a set of agreed values and principles that guide the behaviour of everyone working within them.

These values and principles should:

  1. Be understood and bought into by everyone in the team or organisation, ideally through their involvement in co-creating them.
  2. Guide all decision making from strategic decisions down to individual’s day to day behaviours.
  3. Be used to challenge decision making.
  4. Be regularly communicated in different ways.
  5. Be aligned to the Values and Principles of any parent Organisation
  6. Inform the Environment established for people to be successful
