Guidance Notes

Teams and Organisations should have a robust process for ensuring that the performance of their Products and Run activities are maintained.

This process should:

  1. Measure and track the value being delivered to customers by Products.
  2. Measure and track the potential risk to the delivery of this value, either through technical risks or obsolescence, or through changes to the wider environment.
  3. Measure and track availability, recoverability, and other key operational metrics.
  4. Generate change initiatives to ensure the value being delivered is maintained.
