I enjoyed the fact that all the case studies and references were of proper change - regime change in Serbia, Indian independence, the Orange Revolution in Ukraine, Arab Spring. Proper change of environments and exploring why some were more successful than others. It feels very complementary to Kotter’s ‘Accelerate’. It focuses on networks, on viral organic change, steered but not managed. The difficulty is finding how they combine, something I am working on. Though the combination of the theory and the practical stuff fitted together really nicely. It is well written and easy to read, as well as not being too long.
All in all, highly recommended. I have many thoughts after reading this, and would welcome anyone who wants to explore them with me!
I would also welcome thoughts from someone else reading this. I believe it has the potential to become a shared influence if it resonates with others as it did with me.
